Hi I’m Ariel 👋 and I’m a spray tan artist that can’t be spray tanned. I have eczema, so I decided to get a tan to show you what an active flare up will end up looking like. My hands were done with clear solution which is what a lot of artists recommend for people with eczema. With a flare up like this I cannot recommend a spray tan. What I can recommend is being kind to yourself and giving your skin time to heal. -Make use of humidifiers -Apply a light body oil to wet skin after showering to help dry skin retain moisture -Use occlusives on problem areas after moisturizing (Laroche Posay Cicaplast balm is great or even aquaphor) -Eat an anti-inflammatory diet -Light therapy can help with inflammation Spray tans are fun and make us feel pretty, but nothing is better than the well being of your skin🫶

This is what I would wear to my spray tan appointments 😌 -loose fitting clothes-sorry no leggings! -arms and legs covered to prevent smudges, spills, or transfer -Javasok because as much as an iced coffee after an appointment sounds divine, we gotta stop dripping it on the tan guys 🥲 -Non-restrictive shoes and no socks (I’m a sucker for crocs personally) -Unless you had a clear solution I would wear black to be safe 👍 Hope this helps you figure out what you would wear to a fake tan appointment 🫶 Vote for your fave
